Bill Doyle

Bill had been painting his whole life. He was introduced to painting at an early age when one's education included at in the elementary curriculum as an important element. He was excited by what you could produce on white paper with the bright colors and shapes and there began a lifelong passion for art, which led him to a career in architecture.

He moved to northeast Wisconsin as an architect many years ago, he continued to paint and attend watercolor workshops in the Door County art community.

Many of Bill's paintings are Plein Air when weather permitted and the rest created in studio during long winter months. He felt each painting experience brought new excitement with the opportunity for success or failure, which made the process so stimulating and rewarding.

Sadly, Bill passed away in June 2017.  His family is happy to make available for purchase, fine art prints of many of his watercolor paintings. Enjoy!
