Dianne Saron had worked primarily in black and white portraiture. After moving to Door County, WI in 2001, she immediately became impressed by the vivid landscapes and stunning natural scenes surrounding her. Saron comments, "The breathtaking winter skies that seem to be on fire, or the light as it reflects on water and rocks just beg to be painted." Soon after attending some art classes, Saron discovered a new love for pastels to augment her efforts to capture the beauty of the settings.
Dianne is a member of the Peninsula School of Art Gallery Committee and is the program chair for the Door County Art League. Saron is also a member of The Paine Art Center in Oshkosh, WI, The Francis Hardy Center for the Arts in Fish Creek, WI and The Miller Art Museum of Sturgeon Bay, WI.
