"Yes, that is my given name. I am a self-taught artist that came from a creative family. My father was an artist, my mother made fabrics and rugs. My grandmother was a florist who worked with ceramics, loved woodworking and could play piano by ear. My painting and drawing has started and stopped as life just kept me busy. Now I am retired and have been able to pour myself, my feelings and my energy into my painting.
I live a new age spiritual life and you can see that in my work. I often paint with chakra colors, sending a message, or just paint what's in my heart. My goal is to create a feeling within my art. I don't worry if it is proportional or even if something is not where it belongs, as long as it creates a feeling, or makes you stop and wonder. I have spent my life as a caregiver and a healer, now this is my new medium. For art speaks to the soul. I hope mine speaks to you!"
